On Tuesday, February 24, 2009, StBlogs.com will upgrade to the latest version of Wordpress. Please avoid logging in and posting from 12AM until 5AM EST. Anything posted during this time may, or may not be saved. As always, we encourage you to back up your blogs on a regular basis.

How do I create a backup?

Go to your Manage tab. Click Backup. Save the file to your computer.

What else do I need to know?

About the only major change you will notice is the appearance of your Dashboard. You will now have menu items at the top (horizontal bar) as well as a vertical bar on the left.

Also, following the upgrade, you will find about 10 new plugins and widgets that you can use to make your blog even better.
